Assessment and compatibility
Cloning, repair and access support depend on the exact ECU or TCU, its condition and the required work. A controller family, similar case or matching connector does not establish donor compatibility. We confirm the proposed route before accepting work.
Quotes and bookings
A website enquiry is a request for assessment and pricing. It does not confirm a booking or acceptance of a postal unit. The agreed scope, applicable VAT, access work, diagnostic charges and any travel or shipping costs are confirmed with you.
Original data and replacement parts
Keep your original controller and any backups until the job is complete. Original-data recovery cannot be guaranteed from damaged hardware. The condition and compatibility of a customer-supplied donor must be checked; a data transfer does not warrant the donor’s mechanical or electronic condition.
Installation and vehicle faults
The installer must correct underlying wiring, supply, water-ingress or mechanical faults before refitting. Controller-specific coding, adaptation, basic settings or final diagnostic checks may be required. Electronic work does not repair a mechanically faulty engine or gearbox.
Calibration and road use
Tuning suitability is assessed for the vehicle, hardware, condition and intended use. Changes may affect insurance or manufacturer cover; confirm those arrangements before proceeding. Work is scoped with applicable road-use, emissions and safety requirements in mind.
Delivery and turnaround
Dispatch instructions, required parts, return details and expected turnaround are agreed for the job. Use appropriate protective packaging and tracked, insured delivery. Highlands and island courier arrangements are checked from the address.
