Identify the precise Mercedes controller
The published Flex and Korhex support covers Mercedes Bosch MD1CP001 and MG1CP002 controllers with the SPC5777 processor. It provides specialist Boot Glitch access and supported flash, EEPROM and backup operations. The vendor describes a route without PCB soldering or component removal.
Those references define selected applications. They do not establish support for every Mercedes ECU or every requested replacement job.
Separate the goal from the access work
Tell us whether you want calibration, recovery after a programming failure, or assessment of an original and donor pair. Include the symptoms and the sequence of work already attempted.
The quote should explain the requested outcome, the necessary access work and any remaining vehicle-side requirements. Keep the discussion tied to your vehicle and units; a general enquiry about unlocking leaves several practical questions unanswered.
Send a useful record of the previous work
Provide clear label photographs, the registration and any diagnostic identification report. For a recovery enquiry, keep the original read, written file and tool logs together with the date and result of each attempt.
For a replacement enquiry, identify the original and donor separately. Say whether the original is still available and whether either unit communicates. If a garage is fitting the replacement, include its findings and who will perform final checks.
