Start with the exact ECU and intended job
Ford applications span different controller families and software versions. Tell us whether you need calibration, replacement-data transfer or recovery after programming. Those operations do not necessarily use the same access route.
Check current SID212 and SID212 EVO support
Current Flex protocols include direct OBD calibration routes on supported SID212/SID212 EVO applications without the earlier unlock requirement. Recovery or deeper controller work may still need another method. We check the application before asking you to remove or dispatch the ECU.
Make a commercial enquiry practical
Send the postcode, vehicle availability, mileage, use and whether the van can drive. For a fleet or working vehicle, identify any towing, payload or operating requirements. Existing faults and modifications should be included in the brief.
