More from your engine.
Matched to your vehicle.
Stage 1, hardware-specific performance calibration, ECO and towing options for supported petrol and diesel vehicles. Built around how you use the car.
Identify the route before the repair.
Start with vehicle health
We identify the engine and ECU, review modifications and discuss existing faults. A vehicle with a mechanical problem needs a diagnosis before more load is requested.
Choose the right brief
Stage 1 suits eligible standard hardware. Modified vehicles need a calibration scoped to their upgrades. ECO and towing work focus on useful torque delivery and driving behaviour.
Program and check
The access route is selected for the controller. Relevant diagnostic checks and verification follow programming, with further logging where the job requires it.
Is this the right service?
- Standard car seeking stronger usable performance
- Modified hardware needing matching software
- Daily driver seeking smoother torque delivery
- Towing or commercial vehicle with a specific brief
Make the first message useful.
- Registration, engine and gearbox
- Mileage and current service condition
- All engine and transmission modifications
- Preferred fuel and intended vehicle use
Know what the job covers.
Power, torque and economy depend on the exact engine, hardware, fuel, software and condition. We confirm realistic expectations for your vehicle. Tuning does not repair mechanical faults.
What owners ask.
What power will my vehicle make?
Send the registration and specification. We will check the available route and discuss a realistic estimate. A measured output requires an appropriate test, rather than a generic percentage.
Does Stage 2 need hardware?
It depends on the vehicle and target. Tell us what is installed so the calibration can be scoped correctly. Road-use emissions equipment must remain compliant.
Can you tune a modern protected ECU?
Some applications need supported bench, boot or unlocking procedures. Exact ECU identification is required before access is promised.
Give the quote a useful starting point.
Build a vehicle brief, compare your supplied performance figures, or understand what changes the price.
Preparation, hardware and ongoing support.
Pre-remap vehicle checks
Prepare for remapping with servicing, fault history, fuel, hardware and transmission details. Plan diagnosis first where warnings or running faults remain.

Scope the complete job.
Describe usable performance, not just a headline
Tell us how the vehicle is used and what you want to improve: daily response, overtaking, towing or support for installed hardware. Fuel, load, engine and transmission condition affect the brief. We discuss a realistic expectation for the actual specification; a figure from another vehicle is not a measured result for yours.
Vehicle health comes before additional load
Mention warning lights, boost or fuelling concerns, oil consumption, cooling issues and any gearbox slip or judder. Include the scan and servicing history where available. An unresolved mechanical or electrical problem needs investigation before calibration. The appointment should not be treated as a way to conceal an existing fault.
Agree access, software and verification
The exact controller and current software determine the supported programming route. Protected access can add a distinct procedure to the scope. Ask what checks or logging are included, whether engine and TCU work can be combined and how an existing map or later software update will be handled. Mobile suitability is confirmed by job and postcode.

Stage 1 remapping and gearbox tuning: planning the engine and transmission together
A useful tuning enquiry describes the whole vehicle: condition, engine software, gearbox, hardware and how it is driven.

Mileage is useful context, but it cannot replace servicing, diagnostics and drivetrain checks. Prepare a complete enquiry before increasing engine load.
