Identify the ECU rather than assume from the model

A Mercedes model name does not establish its controller or programming support. Send the registration and a clear ECU label, plus any identification report already obtained. Original and donor units must be assessed together for a replacement job.

Supported MD1/MG1 access with Flex and Korhex

Flex with Korhex provides a supported Boot Glitch route for selected Bosch MD1CP001 and MG1CP002 controllers equipped with the SPC5777 processor. We check the exact application and required operation before accepting work. Access capability and donor cloning feasibility remain separate checks.

Keep engine, transmission and fault history together

Share gearbox faults, existing engine software, recent updates and any SCR/AdBlue warning messages. An immobilised vehicle or a replacement controller can need a broader diagnostic or adaptation plan than a calibration-only appointment.

Can you assess a Mercedes ECU that has failed after programming?

Yes, we can discuss an assessment. Preserve the original files, written file and tool logs, then send the controller details and sequence of events.

Will an unlock make any donor ECU suitable?

No. The supported access procedure does not establish donor compatibility. The controller identities and required transfer or adaptation route must also be checked.
